“Hurricane of Silence”
In this artwork for the XIII. Florence Biennale, showcased from 23.10. -31.10.2012 at the Fortezza da Basso, I have chosen the light material of paper instead of clay to emphasize the fragility and vulnerability of each of us in particular regarding the theme of the women who are still disadvantaged in our world. The abstract work “Hurricane of Silence” tries to make the spectator feel the unique female power in her body and mind that supports human society in a vital way silently without causing attention.
For this work I was awarded with the Quarto Premio “LORENZO IL MAGNIFICO” in the section for Installation.
